Anthony is a UK tabletop roleplaying game author from Cornwall, though that isn’t where his journey began…
Originally hailing from Coventry, the dark heart of the West Midlands (it’s not really that bad…), Anthony discovered the wonders and escapism tabletop roleplaying games had to offer.
It was also here that he would fall into his love of writing, as a vocalist for various heavy metal bands – some far more successful than others - spending close to two decades honing his lyrical craft which often took the form of micro-fiction, generally focusing on dark fantasy and horror.
The musical career bled into another: the apparel industry.
Everyone knows that bands don’t make money from their music anymore (looking at you Spotify) so merchandise became a staple of band life.
Getting to work with incredible artists to bring his lyrical concepts to life was a major lightbulb moment which would eventually lead to the creation of Anthony’s clothing brand, Uknite the Realm.
Uknite the Realm combined his affection for fantasy roleplaying games with his favoured death metal art aesthetic, along with a desire to create fashionable clothing for the fellow heavy metal nerds out there!
As the light slowly dimmed on the long-craved music career, the hunger and desire for creative writing almost dimmed with it…almost.
Inspired by the incredible writers and game designers he’s been fortunate to meet over the years, Anthony added the missing piece of the puzzle, both for himself and his brand, to become the author of his own tabletop roleplaying games.
Thanks to Critical Kit this new dream has become reality, with flagship game Samurai Goths of the Apocalypse, which does exactly what it says on the cover, and rising tension horror SHH!!, both now available across three continents!
